Please be assured that all verbal and written information exchanged with your coach is totally confidential. The following privacy policy relates to online data only. Balanced Life Coaching (“BLC”) is committed to protecting and safeguarding your privacy. BLC will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection act 1998). 

This Privacy Policy governs the way Balanced Life Coaching (“BLC”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the https://www.balancedcoaching.online website ("Site"). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by The Coaching Institute.

This policy sets out how BLC will treat your personal information.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you look at this website, the Internet Service Provider makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:

• your server address
• your top-level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .uk, etc)
• the date and time of your visit to the site
• the pages you accessed, and documents downloaded
• the previous site you have visited
• the type of browser you are using

PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

BLC may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety  of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit the site, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources BLC makes available on the Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, and phone number. Users may, however, visit the Site anonymously. BLC will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to BLC. Users can always refuse to personally supply identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

BLC may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal data:

• information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views)
• information that you provide to BLC for the purpose of working with BLC
• information that you provide to BLC for the purpose of subscribing to services, email notifications and/or newsletters

BLC will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

BLC will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password- and firewall- protected) servers.

Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and BLC cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

NON-PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

BLC may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with the Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and  technical information about Users means of connection to the Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized, and other similar information.

WEB BROWSER COOKIES

A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser and stored by the browser. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.

BLC may use both "session" cookies and "persistent" cookies on the Site. BLC will use the session cookies to keep track of you while you navigate the Site. We will use the persistent cookies to enable the Site to recognize you when you make subsequent visits to the Site.

Session cookies will be deleted from your computer when you close your browser. Persistent cookies will remain stored on your computer until deleted, or until they reach a specified expiry date.

The Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. HOW BLC USES COLLECTED INFORMATION

Balanced Life Coaching may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

• To improve customer service
• Information you provide helps BLC respond to your requests and support needs more efficiently
• To personalize user experience
• BLC may use information in the aggregate to understand how Users as a group use the services and resources provided on the Site
• To improve the Site
• BLC may use feedback you provide to improve services
• To process payments
• BLC may use the information Users provide about themselves when securing coaching services only to provide service for coaching services. BLC does not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service
• To run a promotion, contest, survey or other Site feature
• To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them
• To send periodic emails
• BLC may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their coaching services. User information may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt-in to the mailing list, they will receive emails that may include news, updates, related coaching service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, the user can unsubscribe at the bottom of each email.

BLC only collect personal information for purposes which are directly related to functions or activities under the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act), Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act), and only when it is necessary for or directly related to such purposes.

HOW BLC PROTECTS YOUR INFORMATION

BLC adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration,  disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username,  password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over an SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

BLC does not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. BLC may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. BLC may use third party service providers to help operate the business and the Site or administer activities on behalf of BLC, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. BLC may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given BLC your permission.

Users may find advertising or other content on the Site that link to the sites and services of partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors,  licensors, and other third parties. BLC does not control the content or links that appear on these sites and is not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from the Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to the Site, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Balanced Life Coaching has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When this happens, BLC will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. BLC encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how BLC is helping to protect the personal information collected. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service.  If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
